September 25th to September 30th is designated as Truth and Reconciliation week and it is an important time for all Canadians to acknowledge the impact the residential school system has had on the First Nations, Metis and Inuit people. Students and staff participated in a gallery walk to learn more about residential schools and the meaning of orange shirt day, enjoyed Bannock and jam at lunch, watched Lunch & Learns, and created an eagle.
